Hostal La Terraza is a Hotel in the coastal town of Miño (A Coruña, Galicia) and offers the service of lodging and buffet breakfast. The building have 23 bedrooms with bathroom, common areas, free bicycle rental service, a free parking area and WIFI in all rooms. Our way of understanding tourism is to prioritize our customers, their comfort and personalized service at an affordable price.
With the latest reforms in 2017, architectural barriers have been removed and adapted to a bedroom for people with reduced mobility. Some rooms and common areas have also been pround. The breakfast buffet consist on juice, coffee and tea, cheese, jam, butter, fruit, yogurt, traditional sponge cake and varieties of Galician bread, a very personal bet for a pleasant stay with us.
Miño has a privileged location of great scenic and natural value between the Fragas del Eume and the Biosphere Reserve, with attractive gastronomic options in a marine environment, well served by the A-6 and the AP-9 motorway, you can also arrive by bus, train or plane with the airport of A Coruña 20 minutes, and Santiago 40 minutes.
For those interested in urban tourism, Hostal La Terraza is located in the heart of the Rías Altas, 25 minutes from the cities of A Coruña and Ferrol, 10 minutes from Betanzos and Pontedeume, and 45 minutes from Santiago de Compostela The zone allows the combined use of modes of tourism without large displacements: beach and nature, gastronomy and culture from Miño.
Hostal La Terraza is a historic establishment that began its journey in 1937 as a home for meals, lodging and cinema, the Pantín Cinema. The facade of the building has a modernist design typical of the period, an example of Galician architecture at the beginning of the century that the Hostal still conserves. In 1968 the facilities are expanded in a bid for the hotel business and summer tourism, the third generation is still in it.
